Is there any application fee?

Yes, the application fee is CZK 720. It is possible to pay it by card in your application or by bank transfer. If you send us your application and do not pay the application fee, your application will not be considered as complete.

If you pay the application by bank transfer, you must upload a confirmation of payment to your application. If your application is not marked as paid within 15 days of your payment, please contact us at admissions@utb.cz.

The application fee is non-refundable.

Is there any other fee related to the admission process?

Yes, there is a recognition fee related to your previous education recognition. During the admission process, you must provide a document recognizing your previous level of foreign education or have your previous education recognized – this will cost you CZK 960–3,000 (depending on which type of recognition you choose in your application). If your previous education is from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, or Germany, you do not need to pay any recognition fee – more details are specified here.

We do not require any additional fees for the shipment of admission documents to students who need the original documents for a visa application.

When do I have to pay the tuition fee?

You are required to pay the tuition fee AFTER you enroll to study (within 30 days after your enrolment). The tuition fee is paid per each academic year, and it differs based on the particular study program. Generally, it ranges from CZK 45,000–67,500 (EUR 1,800 to EUR 2,700) per academic year. It is possible to pay the tuition fee in cash, by card, or by bank transfer.

What are the payment details (university bank account number, variable and specific code, etc.)?

As for the application or recognition fee, you will find the bank details in your application if you click on Make the payment. As for the tuition fee, you will find the payment details in your tuition fee letter, which you receive after your enrolment to study.
